We read the story about Rosie the rose daisy petal. With
Rosie we learned about “Making the world a better place”. We talked about ways
to reduce trash and about planting.
The original plan was to go outside and help keep STB clean
by picking up trash at the playground, but it rained and we had to stay
inside. So instead we planted
parsley.
The picture below is day 5 of the parsley. So far we have not seen any sprout yet.
An assigment was presented to the girls duirng the meeting, which will need to be completed by the next meeting so the girls can earn the Trefoil Pin (aslo known as "World Association Pin"). We will need the parents help to complete this assigment. Tara has emailed a copy to all of us.

- 5/19 @ 2:30PM American Girl and 4PM Build-A-Bear. We have a group of 25 (14 girls, 11 adults) participating in this event. Reservations are confirmed.

- I got all of the cookie incentives. It will be delivered to the girls by the next meeting.
- Anyone missing a number“1” from their vest? A numeral “1” was found at the end of our meeting.
- If you feel like the badges are not sticking to the vest, there is a fabric glue called “No-Sew”, I have tried and it works really well. The trick is to use it all over and also on the edges, then let it dry over night. The other option is to have it stitched on.
