We opened the meeting with our usual routine
by saying the promise and singing songs.
Mrs. Fox (KNC) was our special guest. She read us a story about
Gerri the Geranium, the magenta daisy petal. With Gerri we learned about "Respecting Authority". Mrs. Fox lead us in a discussion about:
- Following the rules, and why it is important
- Respecting authority, our teachers, and troop leaders
- Respecting our daisy sisters
- Respecting our daisy meeting
Mrs. Fox also prepared a RESPECT contract each
girl. After reviewing the details of the
contract all of the girls agreed to sign it with a feather, just like the old
days. They also got to draw a picture of
their favorite rule from the contract.
Ask your daughter about it.

for planning such interesting activity.

- American Girl/Build-a-Bear Event May 19th– We will be meeting at the American Girl Store Bistro at 2:30PM.
- We have 2 meeting left for this school year: Tuesday, May 29th, and June 12th
- Trefoil Pin Assignment – If you haven’t yet, please remember to send in the Trefoil Pin assignment for next meeting.
- An envelope was sent home with the girls with:
- Registration forms - Please check the accuracy of the information on the form, fill out the missing information and return it with the $12 registration fee by next meeting May 29th
- Cookie sale patch (for participating in the sale. Patch goes in the back of the vest, and it is an iron-on)
- Cookie sale incentives (girls who sold over 50 boxes)
- Tara and I will be meeting to discuss the plans for next year and we will keep you informed before the end of the school year.
