Today we worked on lots:
- Chapter 4 of our Flower Garden Journey.
- Practiced the Girl Scouts handshake, promise, and rule
- Watered our growing garden
- Craft: We made cards and friendship bracelets for Daisy girls in another troop in town. (Pictures of the cards below). This exercise also fulfills the requirements for the violet petal "Be a sister to every Girl Scout"
- Received our Early Bird patch (goes in the back of the vest) and Journey patch (goes in the front of the vest)
- Since our troop registered in June, we are eligible to receive a free GS CD or an activity book for next year. The girls voted for the activity book.
- We had some green apples, some of the girls tried tomatoes... and like it!
Important info:
- Nut sale - Please bring in your order and permission slips to our "Nut Mom" Dawn M. by the end of this week.
- GS Square Dance: November 28th from 6:30PM to 8:30PM
- Holiday Party: December (date is TBD)
- Next Meeting will be on 11/6/12
