Take Action Project - Flower Garden Journey

On Sunday, we meet at Tower Hill Botanic Garden to fulfill our Take Action project.  Thank you Karen to planing this wonderful event.  We had a beautiful day.  We:

• Enjoyed a delicious picnic
• Cleaned the garden beds and added compose
• Found some garden critters
• Planted garlic
• Picked potatoes, carrots, onions, and some other vegetables. (Tower Hill donates the food they grow to the local food pantry)

Thank you all for helping make this another successful event!

By participating in this project the girls earned the Golden Honey Bee Award, which will be presented in the next ceremony.

This exercise also fulfills the requirements for the rose petal "Make the world a better place"
